The maritime port company in Yemen reported that American aviation inflicted significant damage on the port of Al-Mukalla. As a result of the bombardments, the port's infrastructure and warehouse buildings were damaged. According to the representatives of the company, this incident seriously hampers operations related to cargo handling and poses a risk of shortages in essential humanitarian and commercial supplies.
"American aviation inflicted irreversible damage to our port, which is a key point for the delivery of humanitarian aid and other goods in the region. Such actions create serious obstacles for our work and could lead to a crisis in supplies," noted the representatives of the company.
In addition to the direct damage inflicted on the port, such incidents pose a blow to the livelihoods of ordinary people who depend on humanitarian aid and commercial supplies through the port. Furthermore, such actions create instability in the region and exacerbate the humanitarian situation, already complicated by armed conflicts.
