A teenager from Yemen ended his life after his father slammed his mobile phone. The 15-year-old boy was delivered to one of the hospitals in the Al-Ghaidah region in the Mahra province after hanging himself, as a reaction to the destruction by his father’s phone. The official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Yemen reported that "after receiving medical examinations and conducting investigative activities on the body of the young man, traces of hanging were discovered around his neck." After this, an investigation was initiated, and it was established that the father, who confessed that his son had committed suicide due to a breakdown of his mobile phone. The teenager had tied a noose – one end was attached to a metal structure on the roof of the house, while the other end was wrapped around his neck, after which he hanged himself and completed his life in this manner. The father of the teenager noted that his son tragically ended his life in response to the breakdown of his mobile phone. After the completion of the investigation and the collection of all evidence from the scene of the incident, the body of the teenager was handed over to his relatives, who then held the funeral and conducted his last rites.
