Today, on Monday, seven members of one family perished, while three others received serious injuries as a result of a landslide from one of the mountains, on the slope of which their house was located, in the province of Al-Mahdith in the northwest of Yemen. According to sources in Yemen, a mass of stone from the mountain fell into the Al-Kubi valley in the At-Tawila district in the northeast of the Al-Mahdith province, leading to the destruction and collapse of the house where a family of 14 people lived, including children. "The head of the family built his house behind one of the large mountains, not providing any safety, which led to the tragedy, as a result of which he lost himself and most of his family members," the sources noted.
