Representatives of the American administration noted that the goals of the strikes were specifically selected and the air operations were aimed against militants threatening the safety of the region.
"We only carry out strikes after a thorough analysis of information to minimize the risk to the civilian population," said the representative of the administration. At the same time, local residents and activists continue to express their concerns about the recent airstrikes and the level of their concentration in residential areas, which, according to their opinions, increases the danger for the civilian population.
